How Did You Spend your Thanksgiving Break?

Well, I am writing this before my break officially starts, so it is ready for Blog It club, but here is what we're planning to do:

Thursday: I'm making the turkey, stuffing, and green bean casserole and my mom and dad are bringing over the potatoes, a salad, and pies. YUM! I can't wait to eat them! I've also purchased a new kid's movie for our son to watch when we're done.

Friday: I am NOT a Black Friday shopper, so I won't be out shopping at all. Instead, I am going to convince my husband to help put up our tree (we have an artificial one) and my son and I will decorate it. I bought some new special ornaments that I hope my son will enjoy.

*What I really did: decorated my first ever gingerbread house with my son, my husband put up our tree, and my son and I decorated it, and watched Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Saturday: No special plans until the evening, and my family will have dinner out with another couple.

*What I actually did: laundry (fun, fun!), grocery shopping, and dinner out, as well as watched Santa Claus is Coming to Town

Sunday: My husband and I are going to sneak out for a movie. We haven't done that in a long time.

*What I actually did: played with my son, movie, made persimmon cookies, and did a video chat with a friend and her son

What did you do and what was your favorite part about the break or holiday?
